I had a lovely meal at Sohe in Jesmond the other month and had a lamb penang curry. I’m not really a curry person as I can’t handle hot ones, but this one was amazing especially with the lamb.
I really wanted to make my own and after finding Penang curry paste at the Asian store in Whitley Bay, I made it today with chicken, mushrooms, onion and roasted red peppers.
Wow! Think it might be my new favourite curry!
