Baking is all about trial and error. I bought some lovely baking cases and matching straws online from Iced Jems (www.icedjems.com) and was dying to try them out.
I used my normal vanilla cupcake recipe as always but for some reason once baked they started to sink and pull away from the baking cups. Perhaps I didn’t leave them in the oven long enough or the baking cups made a difference rather than the cupcakes cases I use?
Anyway, once iced and the straws were added – they didn’t look too bad and still tasted damn good!
